The Grape Day Festival and Parade: Day: Saturday, September 06, 2008; Location: Escondido, CALIFORNIA; The Grape Day Festival and Parade has deep roots in Escondido. Taking place each year on the Saturday after Labor Day, Grape Day is a free community celebration of our community's heritage. The festival begins at 9.30am and runs until 5pm in Grape Day Park (321 N. Broadway). The short, whimsical parade on Grand Avenue begins at Escondido Blvd at 9.30am and marches up to Juniper.
